Montreal, Canada and Tel Aviv, Israel – renewz sustainable solutions Inc., of Montreal, Canada, announced today that in the context of the commercial mission of Mayor Coderre of Montreal to Israel and Palestinian territories, it has signed a collaborative development agreement with Driivz Ltd, of Tel Aviv, Israel. The companies intend to begin joint development of web and mobile app interfaces that will address the three issues enunciated by Elon Musk of Tesla, during his recent presentation of the Tesla Solar Tiles: power generation, storage, and mobility.

“The signing of this agreement with Driivz today brings to renewz a world class leading software platform in order to create a unique user experience for our future solar carport projects,” said Sass M. Peress, CEO of renewz. “Driivz vast experience in off-grid and grid power systems, specifically related to the electrification of transport, will help support our initiatives for larger deployment of our iSun solar charging stations around the world,” continued Peress.

“We believe that Driivz is one of the most complete and advanced platforms for the management of electric vehicle energy infrastructure in the world. It is our goal to work with renewz to create further distinction in this market, specifically related to energy management, given their focus on the mating of solar energy and electric mobility. Our team has accumulated vast experiences in this category over years of serving tens of thousands of unique users and thousands of charging points across the globe,” said Doron Frenkel, CEO of Driivz. “We are pleased to have signed this collaboration with renewz, and look forward to launching our platform in mid-to-late 2017 together,” continued Frenkel.

“One of the goals of the transportation electrification strategy for 2016-2020 adopted by our municipal administration last June was that initiatives triggered by that strategy could generate economic benefits for local businesses and institutions. Thus, the renewz new partnership announcement in this area perfectly illustrates today how that goal can be achieved,” stated Mayor Denis Coderre of Montreal.
